Obituary

Peter Zacharias, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, at the Red River Valley Lodge in Morris, Manitoba, at the age of 87.

Peter is survived by his children: Maria, Phil, John, and Russ; three sisters: Anne, Helen, and Marge; his four brothers: John, Bill, Jake, and Abe; along with a remarkable lineage of 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Margaretha and his parents John and Aganetha Zacharias and siblings Aron and Nettie.

The funeral service will be held Monday, April 21, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Morris, Manitoba.

Come and go viewing will be held at Morris Funeral Home, Sunday, April 20 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm, and at the church prior to the funeral service.

Burial will take place at the Morris Cemetery.

On behalf of the family we would like to thank the Morris Hospital and Red River Valley Lodge nurses and staff for the care and kindness in the 1 year and 2 months he was in their care.
