Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather, Paul Yatsko, age 84, of Steinbach, MB, formerly of Sundown, MB, on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB. He was born on June 27, 1934.

He will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by his wife Margaret of 61 years; two daughters: Virginia (Roy) Lischynski and Susan (Bob) Windsor; one son Ken (Sharon) Yatsko; grandchildren: Adam, Jason (Kelsey), Amanda (Justin) Stefanchuk, Brittany, Kevin, Tamara and Brenden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, also Sister Evelyn (Eddie) Allen. He was predeceased by his parents Leonty & Anne Yatsko; sisters Jessie Pott and Mary Krasniuk; and brothers Pete, Mike, & Nick.

His working career began with forestry, road construction, working on heavy equipment, Engineer with highways maintenance until health failed him. He also farmed throughout his life.

In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing card games and quad riding.

The funeral service for Paul will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy. 52W, Steinbach, MB, with a viewing prior to the service. The burial will follow at Ridgeland Cemetery, Sundown, MB.
