Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Erwin Friesen of La Broquerie, MB, at the age of 57 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife Audrey, his children Junior (Cheryl), Dacey, Monique, his mother Katherina, his sister Marilyn, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; he will also be remembered by his mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all of his friends.

Erwin was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend. There was honestly nothing that Erwin would not do to take care of everyone and most of all to make everyone laugh. He always had a story or a joke to tell and had a big smile that was contagious.

Erwin was a really good person, one of a kind, loved spending time with his family and friends, quadding, skidooing, fishing, trucking with Audrey by his side.

Erwin was a very hard worker and was always working on something, his pride and joy was his yellow International truck and his new Big Bird semi.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing prior to the service.
