Ben was born on March 18, 1933 in Hepburn, Saskatchewan. He was considered a slow learner and showed it in his grades. His Grade 6 Teacher encouraged him to seek the LORD JESUS CHRIST! He did and his grades shot up! Ben would do his best to love & obey his LORD! After graduating from Steinbach Bible Institute, Ben married his sweetheart Luella Hamm. He worked as an electrician for Penner Electric, pastored a church in Pelly, SK and sold Watkins products, did nickel mining and private contracting in Thompson, did farming and Mr. Fixit in the Ethelbert & Gilbert Plains areas, was Maintenance man at Providence College, back to Ethelbert for awhile and then retired in Steinbach. In all of these places, Ben found groups of Believers to fellowship with, led his Family in daily Bible reading & prayer, taught his Kids to love the LORD and work hard & smart and helped many People in their time of need! Now Ben gets to be with JESUS forever!
Hebrews 12:22-24 “…you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living GOD, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to GOD, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to JESUS, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel…”
