As well as his grandchildren Colby, Faith, Mia, Max, Kealey, Brinley, Noah and Liam. He also leaves to mourn his siblings René, Evelyne, Adrien, Alfred, Simone, Marie, Jeanne, Monique and Michelle.
Luc was predeceased by his parents, Marcel and Yvette Dufault, and sister Annette.
Luc grew up on a farm outside of Somerset, Manitoba. He was the second of 11 children. He started off working on the family farm, worked numerous jobs over the years and found his second home working at Notre Dame Used Oil for the last two decades. He had a work ethic like no other, was a man who marched to his own beat and was always ready to help those in need.
Special thanks to the staff at Notre Dame Hospital for the care he received during his final weeks of life. The family would also like to thank the Notre Dame Used Oil team for their support during these last few weeks.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help cover living expenses for his wife and grandson.
A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Notre Dame of the Nativity Parish, 402 Lachance Street, Somerset, Manitoba. The rosery and eulogy will begin at 1:00 pm.
