Obituary

Cornelius John Stoesz (Neil), passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Morris General Hospital, Morris, MB.

He was born September 27, 1950 to Cornelius and Elizabeth Stoesz.

He is survived by his sister Bettie, brothers Dennis and Gerald and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents and by his sister Linda.

At an early age he developed a huge interest in aviation and became a pilot while still in high school. For the next 40 years he flew as a flight instructor, bush pilot, corporate pilot, Transport Canada Flight Inspector, and airline pilot for many years at Perimeter Airlines. He enjoyed mentoring and guiding the careers of many first officers that he flew with.

As a family we are grateful to the health care professionals who provided care to Neil, in some cases with little cooperation on his part. He was Neil right to the end.

At Neil’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
