Obituary

It is with great sadness that the sister of Larry Thiessen announce his sudden and accidental passing on June 7th, 2024 at age 67.

Larry will be lovingly remembered by his sister Linda and his best friend Brenda Gibson. Larry was a kind man with a simple belief that one day he would be reunited with his parents in a beautiful heaven where his God would release him from any pain or fear. To know Larry was a gift. Larry was truly a bright light, a beacon. He is survived by many aunts and uncles and cousins, far too many to mention by name.

Larry will be placed to rest with his parents Frank and Mary Thiessen at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa.

Thank you to the paramedics and ICU staff at the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their kindness and tender care.
