Obituary

George Wiens, 80, of Roseau River, MB., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

He is survived by three children: Laura (Mark) Kampff, Greg (Lisa) Wiens, and Tracy Wiens. He is also survived by six wonderful grandchildren: Paul, Brandon, Paige, Erick, Kadin & Kyle.

He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Rose and his parents Nick & Agatha Wiens.

George was a very dedicated truck driver. He drove for Penner International for 30 years.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the St. Pierre Hospital staff for their loving care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba.

The come & go viewing will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

A private family burial will take place at a later date.
