Obituary

Elda Rempel (Elda’s Reflexology) passed away Wednesday morning, October 23, 2024, into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior.

She was predeceased by her parents, Anne & Henry Rempel and five siblings.

She is survived by two brothers.

Elda grew up in Rosenort, Manitoba. At 18 she moved to Winnipeg, to work at King George hospital. She lived a full life serving others and being a dedicated friend. As many will testify, she was a unique soul loved by her many friends and those who knew her through her business. She was a reflexologist in the last 30 years of her working career and was able to help many with her skillful hands.

She courageously battled cancer for six years. It was only in her last days that she lost the ability to communicate well.

Thanks to her lifelong friends who got to walk life’s pathway with her. Thank you to all the nurses that took care of her at Concordia Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital and Health Sciences. Special thanks to Dr. Rimmer and staff at Cancer Care.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at Calvary Temple, Winnipeg, MB., with viewing prior to the service.

The interment will take place at Winkler Cemetery, Winkler, MB.
