Obituary

Ann Wollmann, age 68, of Steinbach, Manitoba passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at her residence.

Ann is survived by her husband of 47 years Stephen, her children Angela (Michael), Stephen (Danielle), Martin (Janelle), Pauline (Donny), and Joel. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren: Isaac, Aaron, Nathaniel, Aiden, Liam, Hannah, Audrey, Elliot, Asher, Isabelle, Logan, Colton, Hayley, Austin, Ithiel, and Micah, as well as three brothers: David (Marie), Joseph (Annie), Mick (Eva), and one sister Mary (Levi).

She is predeceased by her parents David and Mary Hofer.

Ann was a fiercely independent woman and lived life with unending energy and zest. She was unfailingly loyal and loved her family and bakery dearly.

From her childhood on a Hutterite Colony to becoming the matriarch of a large family and owner/operator of one of the largest independent bakeries in the southeast, Ann’s energy and hard work were clearly blessed by God’s hand.

She is loved dearly and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. We look forward to the day we are reunited in our heavenly home.

The viewing will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with viewing one hour prior to the service.

Interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery.
