Obituary

Peter Martens passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025, in his 101st year, at Heritage Lodge, Winnipeg, MB.

Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Martens (nee Thiessen); loving father of Dave (Helen), Bob (Wendy) and Donna (Greg); caring grandfather of Sandy, Storie, Landin (Hope) and Jake and great-grandfather of Kory. Peter is also survived by his sister Jessie, brother Richard (Hilda) and sisters-in-law Mary and Betty (Jerry).

Peter was born in Plum Coulee, MB., he met and married Evelyn.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Lodge and Pastor Moses Falco of Sterling Mennonite Fellowship.

Cremation has taken place; a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
