Obituary

Tina Siemens It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tina on January 11, 2025, at the Red River Valley Lodge in Morris, Mb at the age of 89.

Tina will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Angela Robert (Eugene) of Morris, son Reg (Pam) of Burnaby, B.C, granddaughter Kimberly (Rob) of Morris, Mb, Michelle (Clayton) of Morden, Manitoba and her 4 great granddaughters, Hailey, Carly, Emma and Josie, sister Susan Hamm of Brandon, Manitoba, brothers Jack(Joan) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, John (Nora) of Brandon, Manitoba, and Hank of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tina was predeceased by her husband Peter in 2004, and her sons Eugene Peter in 1957 and James in 2019, her mother Katherina Abrams, her father Peter Enns, her brothers Willie Enns and Peter Enns, and her sisters Helen Elliot and Ann Weaver.

Tina was born in the R. M. of Rhineland in 1935 and was the oldest child of Tina began her nursing career at Morris Hospital when she was 16 years old. When her and Pete were married in 1953, they moved to Winnipeg for a few years and Tina continued her nursing career at Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg. After the birth of their second son, they moved backed to Morris and Tina once again worked at Morris Hospital. She furthered her education and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and continued her nursing career at Morris Hospital until her retirement at age 60. Tina was also an avid curler, and she was a member of the Morris Lioness Club. Tina loved traveling and spending time with her granddaughters. She loved gardening and preserving her bounty to share with family.

Tina’s family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Red River Valley Lodge for their kindness, care and support for the last 10 years.

The funeral service will be held at the Morris United Church on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Rosenort Cemetery after lunch.
