Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister Ellen Semeniuk on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the age of 73.

She was predeceased by her parents Danylo & Maria Semeniuk, sisters Linda, Anne, Elizabeth, Darlene, brothers John & William & nephew Leonard.

Ellen leaves to mourn her sisters Jacquie (Wayne), Phyllis (Fred) Ollie, Alice, Terry (Christian), Evelyn & brother Steve, along with numerous nieces, nephews & close friends.

She took pleasure in the simple things in life. Spending time with family & friends was most important to her, she also loved nature & enjoyed taking walks. She was an accomplished business woman in the hotel industry in Manitoba & later in life, took pride in her job at Canterbury Foundation in Edmonton where she thrived & made many friends. She also could bring a smile to anyone’s face with her quick wit & quirky sense of humour.

In respect of her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service is being planned.
