Cream/beat the butter with sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat well with mixer. Add 2 c flour with other dry ingredients. Combine.
Add 1/2 c cream and beat well. Add remaining 2 c flour. Beat well. Add final 1/2 c cream and vanilla and combine.
Chill dough in fridge. Roll out onto floured counter and press out into desired shapes.
Bake for 8 minutes at 350 F. May be iced if you like.
